A man was pronounced dead after his car collided with two vehicles and ended up on its roof in a garden in Farnham.
Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following the crash in Alma Lane, which happened at around midday on Sunday (December 8).
A silver Mitsubishi Shogun was in collision with a black Peugeot 107, before hitting a parked vehicle and then crashing through a 7ft-high garden hedge.
It rolled over in the front garden of a house before also hitting the property, causing some structural damage.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, believed to be a man in his 60s, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. No-one else was injured in the incident.
Anna Smith, who lives at the damaged property, said: “It’s the most shocking thing I have ever seen. It was just like being in a disaster movie.
“It’s so tragic for the family of the driver,” she added.
Alma Lane was closed between its junctions with Bricksbury Hill and Ball and Wicket Lane while investigations were carried out at the scene.
The car was not removed until around 6pm after a crane had to called in to help with the recovery.
