Driver on bail in suspision of killing one male

A 20 year old man who was arrested as he was thought to be involved in a crash that killed one male has been released from custody.

It has been confirmed by police that the male who was arrested for being unfit to drive because of drugs or alcohol is now on bail, while investigations are being carried out. An appeal has also been made for witnesses. The crash happened near the Worcester Recycling Centre in Bilford Road around 2:30a.m involving a black Peugeot 206.

The Peugeot 206 left the road and hit a bollard on Bilford Road.

When the emergency services arrived they saw the 20 year old male in cardiac arrest. They were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A female passenger in the car had no injuries though the male passenger had suspected wrist and ankle fracture.
