Fatal accident caused the death of three woman
A male who has caused the death of three women has been jailed.
Two weeks before the fatal accident claim he seriously injured a pedestrian due to speeding.
The 23 year old male was driving his MG ZR over 70mph in a 30mph zone.
He overtook a Fiat 500 causing the car to collide with a Citroen Xsara. The collision trapped three people inside their cars.
The driver and passenger who were 19 in the Fiat 500 both passed away in the accident as well as the 60 year old driver of the Citroen.
The male was jailed for 12 and a half years after pleading guilty to three counts of death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury due to dangerous driving.
The male was driving behind the Fait driver making her speed, after the male overtook the Fiat the car then collided with the Citroen head-on.
The 60 year old Citroen driver passed away while being air lifted to hospital. The daughter and granddaughter were also involved in the fatal accident claim and saw their loved one deteriorate.
A black box on the 19 year old’s car showed that she had been traveling at 77mph and slowed down just before the fatal accident claim.
