Fatal car accident killed one and injured sister
A 25 year old male driver has been sentenced to six years in prison after causing a fatal car accident. It is claimed that the fatal accident caused the death on a 49 year old woman and also seriously injured her sister. The injured sister can now make a injury claim and a fatal accident compensation claim on behalf of her sister as she is the next of kin.
The male was driving an Audi R8 Spyder which he hired. He was travelling at 76mph in a 30mph zone.
The two sisters were in a Ford Fiesta when the fatal accident occurred.
He admitted the charge causing death by dangerous driving, two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without insurance and leaving the scene of an accident.
The male was also given a six year driving ban.
There was a passenger in the Audi who was also injured.
The driver fled the scene and later handed himself into the police.
Tribute was paid to the woman in court.
