According to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC)  website in connection with the tragic death of a driver where the police were involved which required an investigation into conduct of police officers by the IPCC found that there was no misconduct or criminality on behalf of the police officers.

Furthermore an Inquest was held at Walthamstow Coroner’s Court into the fatal road traffic collision in Romford that recorded as “verdict of accidental death”

An independent expert considered the evidence and the involvement of the police officers who were said only to be in a “short pursuit of the suspect car” and that the Police car involved had a legitimate reason to ask the driver to stop.

The expert found that none of the procedures adopted by the police officers were breached in any way confirming the Coroner’s verdict of accidental death.
