Fatality Caused by Asbestos Dust

A man died at the age of 50 as a result of mesothelioma which he had contracted through constant exposure to asbestos dust whilst working in a factory. Years later, symptoms occurred in the man of intermittent pain in the upper part of his chest. Later more he experienced pain in the left side of his back and a pleural effusion was found in the base of his left lung.
The man was then diagnosed with malignant pleural mesothelioma, for three consecutive months after this diagnosis he experienced severe abdominal pain and underwent major surgery and medical treatment before sadly dying only three months later. His case was justified at a total £284,652.
