Five killed in car accident

A fatal car accident has killed five teenagers.

The five young adults were in the same car, on the way to a fast food restaurant when the fatal car accident occurred.

The 18 year old driver lost control when he was heading down hill into a bend, an oncoming car smashed into the side of the car causing the fatal accident claim.

The driver and passengers were aged 16 to 18.

The fatal accidents claim occurred around 9:40pm.

The teens were travelling in a Toyota Corolla that was following a black Vauxhall Corsa which also had two other friends in. They stopped at the scene to help their friends, though two were dead at the scene.

The 21 year old driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The car was traveling on a 60mph road when the Toyota slid on the side and collided with a Seat Leon.

The 45 year old driver of the Seat sustained a broken leg.

Three of the passengers died in hospital.

The two groups of friends went to a fast food restaurant just before the fatal accident they agreed to take the main road to where they were going.

Police have appealed for witnesses and said that fog was a significant factor in the fatal accident claim.
