Helicopter Crash Killed 13 People

The tragic ‘Super Puma’  helicopter crash that killed 13 people including 1 British worker serves as another marker  and investigation about the safe transportation of workers by helicopter.

Tributes have been paid to a British man who was regrettably killed.  It is reported in the Daily Mail online that he was a “41-year-old father-of-two, who worked for oilfield services company Halliburton, has been named locally as Iain Stuart, from Laurencekirk in Aberdeenshire.”

The Mail interestingly refers to the fact that the same Helicopter had to return to base twice in the days before the tragic fatal helicopter accident.

Ban the Super Puma Helicopter

Members of the public most affected by this tragedy are now asking other sign and online petition to call the for the Civil Aviation Authority to be grounded and to stop carrying oil workers.  The Scottish Parliament is also being urged to stop the Super Puma helicopter from conveying oil and bass workers.
