At a Coroner’s Court Hearing, following a tragic fatal road accident, it was found that a father of 4 was:

  • driving too fast
  • conditions at the time of the fatal road accident were described as ‘wet’
  • the car was fitted with illegal tyres
  • the driver was not wearing a seat belt

The inquest and findings of following the fatal road accident can be found in the Mirror.

The Mirror described the incident as a ‘horror crash’ that cost the driver his life.  It is reported that the 47 year old dad of 4 lost control of his vehicle.

The Mirror further quotes:

Aberdare Coroners’ Court heard Mr Foley, from Merthyr Tydfil, had been thrown from the vehicle through the driver-side window.

He was found in the field closest to the road, around 50m from his vehicle, after his car had gone straight through a fence and down an embankment.

Mr Foley was then taken to hospital where he died from a severe head injury four days later, reports Wales Online.
