Two cyclist killed
A fatal accident inquiry will take place this summer into the Highlands after the death of a cyclist in Leicestershire.
A woman of 30 was killed and her husband suffered serious injuries when a car drove on the wrong side of the road killing the cyclist. The driver of the car was a 95 year old woman; she has blamed a rare medical condition for the cause of the fatal bike accident.
The inquest is thought to last two weeks.
The couple were on holiday for a week in Scotland celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
They were standing with their bikes on the A99 in Auckengill near Keiss when they were both knocked over.
It was said that the 95 year old woman mounted a verge and drove along the pavement hitting the woman.
