Woman jailed for causing a fatal crash
A woman of 26 years of age received a prison sentence today as she caused a fatal road traffic accident. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving amongst others.
The 26 year old woman collided into another car which fatally killed the the opposing car female driver who died at the scene. The 26 year old failed to stop at a stop sign and was speeding at 80mph in a 30 mph zone.
When the results of the test came back she was three times over the drink drive limit. She sustained injuries including a broken ankle and minor wounds.
The 26 year old already had driving offences since 2009 for an improper U-turn, speeding and following too closely.
