Worker fell from roof causing injury

Fatal Accident Compensation Claims

An employee died after a fatal accident at work.

The contractor was helping to repair a flood-hit factory when he fell 110ft.

The worker was taking pictures from the roof when the fatal work accident occurred.

The employee died from the multiple injuries he sustained due to the fall.

The cement- making factory was left badly damaged in a flood.

It was believed that the worker wanted to gain more experience about how kilns work, that why he might have been on the steel corrugated roof.

It has been said that the roof was not easily accessible. The worker would have to climb over a guard rail to get to it. The employee did have permission to take photos of the roof. A health and safety inspector said that the roof was fragile and could not hold a person weight. The worker’s partner was pregnant when the accident occurred.

The accident has been said to be a tragic work related fatal accident.
