53-year-old woman taking part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britan and hoping to raise £1,000.00 for Children in Need.

The cyclist is taking part in the bike ride in memory of her friend who sadly passed away after being knocked off her bike by a car during last year’s challenge.

The deceased was taking part in the 969-mile route but sadly passed away in the final 350 miles of the challenge.

She has confirmed that she is going to take part in the last bit of the ride which the deceased was determined to finish.
