FATAL ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT CLAIM: It is believed that a van driver was fatally killed due to being crushed in between two lorries.
The deceased was travelling on a motorway which filtered into one lane, as the deceased crossed into the one lane motorway a driver of a pallet truck collided into the van which the deceased was travelling in, causing his vehicle to be crushed against a lorry in front.
A post mortem revealed that the deceased died of multiple traumatic injuries.
The driver of the lorry has been charged with death caused by careless driving.
