The 50-year-old deceased was working at a waste recycling firm when he was found by an employee lying seriously injured at the bottom of the machine.
It is believed that his leg had been partially severed inside the machine and had to be amputated by a doctor at the scene of the fatal work accident.
There were no witnesses to the fatal work place accident but it was construed that the likely cause of death was that the deceased had fell into a hopper machine whilst trying to clean a blockage.
The deceased was transported to hospital but unfortunately died two days post-fatal accident at work.
