Pensioner Killed Due to Fatal Car Accident

It is believed that the 76-year-old experienced driver was on his way back from a family celebration with his wife, when their car slid into the kerb on a snow filled rural road.

The driver got out of his car to try and help surrounding people push a Vauxhall Astra out of a snow ditch, when all of a sudden it backed up onto the pensioner crushing him between his own car and the Vauxhall Astra.

The deceased died instantly at the scene.
