A fatal road traffic accident in left three passengers dead. Four men where involved in the crash aging: 65,61,26,25. At 12:31pm police responded to scene of the fatal road traffic accident. The 65 year old was driving a 1992 Toyota Tercel trying to merge into a minor road. He failed to stay out the way of an oncoming Volvo tractor- trailer that was traveling.

The Volvo was unable to miss the Toyota. Even though the 65 year old driver of the Volvo was wearing a seatbelt he died at the scene of the accident. The passenger in the back of the car was not wearing a seatbelt and also died at the scene. A further passenger in the Toyota was also not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car and suffered serious injuries; he was transported to hospital where he later died following fatal injuries in the road accident.

The 61 year old has been left in hospital in a critical condition. The driver of the tractor trailer was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Alcohol and speed are not factors in the crash though it is still under investigation.

The driver of the Toyota, has been charged with reckless driving.
